In this performance, Fellipe Vergani (FELL) drifts through a question that has been bothering him: is growing older inevitably a process of becoming more conservative? Starting from the legacy of Fugazi and the distance between punk and jazz, he reflects on how rebellion changes over time, how convictions harden into habits, and how yesterday’s outsider can slowly become today’s defender of the status quo.
The sonic foundation is a custom AI system developed by Christian Dähne and trained exclusively on live recordings of Fugazi. Working with a deliberately limited archive, the system generates musical material that feels suspended between memory and invention, nostalgia and repetition.
Against this backdrop, FELL responds through voice, movement, and improvisation. His performance unfolds as a stream of associations shaped by personal doubt, information overload, and the psychological fatigue of living in a time of endless media consumption, war footage, political outrage, and competing narratives. Thoughts jump between the personal and the collective, between absurd humor and genuine unease, searching for a way to remain open, curious, and alive amid constant noise.
Rather than offering answers, the performance lingers in uncertainty, creating a dialogue between machine and body, past and present, resistance and accommodation.
